About Dr Emma Arora
Dr Emma Arora is a compassionate, highly trained and experienced HCPC registered Consultant Clinical Psychologist. Emma is trained to doctorate level and also BABCP accredited in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), meaning she meets the highest standards of training and experience in CBT.
Emma has worked within the NHS in adult mental health for 15 years. Emma has experience of working with adults with a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, emotion regulations difficulties, PTSD and complex trauma. She is currently working as a consultant clinical psychologist, in the NHS, alongside her private work. Emma is trained in a wide range of psychological evidence-based treatments. Since qualifying as a clinical psychologist she has undertaken advanced training in CBT, DBT EMDR and other models.
In addition to using the right models for you, Emma understands the importance of the therapeutic relationship in achieving change and making progress towards your goals. Throughout her time in the NHS she has received positive feedback about her warm and supportive approach which empowers clients to make positive changes in their lives, often at very challenging times.
